Lists and tables

Lists

Lists have a parent tag (either unordered list - <ul> - or ordered list - <ol>) and many child tags (<li> - list item)

Unordered lists look like this:

<ul>
  <li>Eggs</li>
  <li>Carrots</li>
  <li>Broccoli</li>
</ul>
  • Eggs
  • Carrots
  • Broccoli

Ordered lists look like this:

<ol>
  <li>Eggs</li>
  <li>Carrots</li>
  <li>Broccoli</li>
</ol>
  1. Eggs
  2. Carrots
  3. Broccoli

In ordered lists, the browser automatically adds the numbers for you.

Tables

Tables have many parts. Here's what they look like:

<table>
  <thead>
    <tr>
      <th>Pokedex</th>
      <th>Name</th>
      <th>Type</th>
    </tr>
  </thead>
  <tbody>
    <tr>
      <td>1</td>
      <td>Bulbasaur</td>
      <td>Grass/Poison</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td>2</td>
      <td>Charmander</td>
      <td>Fire</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
